Getting started

The easiest way to get started with Questmate is by using one of our pre-defined templates from our Quest template library. All these use cases have been created, tried and tested for and by our amazing customers. The most widely used templates right now are:

πŸ“±
Visitor Management Quest β†’ Sign visitors in from any device. Also comes with slide mode, so you can easily create an iPad kiosk.
πŸ€‘
Fundraising Quest β†’ This is the Quest we used to raise a US$1.5M seed round at US$13.5M, all while saving time and bandwidth.
🐧
Daily Standup Quest β†’ Align with your team with our asynchronous daily standup check-in. Makes face-to-face meetings better too.
🌱
Self Assessment Quest β†’ A manager and team favourite for reflecting on career goals and prepping for performance reviews.

Creating Quests

If there isn’t a template that meets your exact needs, it’s really easy to create your own. We recommend starting by writing what it is exactly that you want to get done and then working backwards from there. We usually start by creating a simple checklist, and then go through each item and level it up to a different item type or an automation or custom action if needed.

Let’s create a new Quest together:

Starting & Assigning Runs

Once you’ve created your new Quest (or have chosen one from our template library), it’s time to use the real thing! You can choose whether you want to start Quests manually or automatically by setting up a schedule, or based on some kind of condition like a previous Quest being submitted (wizard level! πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ). There are also a few awesome ways you can assign Quests to other people to complete too.
